What is Your Measure of Success?
Being successful can sure put the pressure on a person and add untold stress to life. Note that a lot of that pressure stems from not having a clear definition in your mind what success for you actually is or means.
Know that true success is by your own measurement.
If you don”t have a clear picture of what success means to you, then right now would be a good time to begin to define success to yourself.
Start by listing 3 goals that you can “measure”. Here are some examples both term/specific and ongoing:
Success term goal: I want to get a promotion
Measurable: Actually getting the promotion.
Success on going goal: I want to be an honest person.
Measurable: How honest have you been? (And be honest with yourself!)
Success is measured in many different ways, but the best way is with your own yardstick.
